BellSouth announced simplified pricing for its FastAccess DSL product beginning Sunday. Pricing has been reduced to a three-tier system with a la carte add-ons available.

Each tier includes a DSL modem for $75, which is currently free after $75 mail-in rebate with a one-year commitment.

The new pricing and bandwidth levels are:

FastAccess DSL Lite includes 256k/128k bandwidth for $24.95 per month.

FastAccess DSL Ultra includes 1.5M/256k bandwidth for $32.95 per month.

FastAccess DSL Extreme includes 3M/384k bandwidth and one static IP address for $42.95 per month. A static IP address is an additional $14.95 with the other two packages.

Existing customers will need to request the new pricing from BellSouth.
