I thought this was pretty cool. Test Your VoIP lets you test your Internet connection and get an estimate of the quality of a VoIP call to several cities around the world.

The cities currently on the list are Boston, Helsinki, London, Montreal, San Jose, and Sydney.

You do need to have a Java virtual machine in your browser to use it. Most of you do already, so don’t worry about it.

I could have used this the other day when I tried to phone London. The quality was so terrible I couldn’t even carry on a conversation. Working fine today, though.
