Verizon Wireless launches EasyPay prepaid plans
Verizon Wireless on Monday announced the launch of its EasyPay prepaid wireless plans, providing blocks of time for a set monthly charge, similar to common postpaid plans.
Verizon Wireless announced two EasyPay plans. One gives 350 anytime minutes per month, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited IN network calling for $50 per month, and the other gives 700 minutes per month, unlimited nights and weekends and unlimited IN network calling for $70 per month.
Customers can send and receive text messages for $0.10 per message. Verizon’s Get It Now and Vcast features are not available, though Verizon said it plans to have Get It Now available by year end.
In addition, customers can purchase handsets for the one year contract price.
